Hoover Max Extract 60 Pressure Pro Carpet Deep Cleaner (FH50220) Review
Extensive Review of Hoover Max Extract 60 Pressure Pro Carpet Deep Cleaner (FH50220)
I love my carpet, but my kids and dogs really can do a number on it. I consider myself a bit of a neat freak, but my pets and children were just tracking in so much dirt and stains that I could not clean the carpet fast enough. I really did not want to give up my carpet, because I love walking around the home in bare feet, but it was getting ridiculous. I was at my wits end until I came up across the Hoover Max Extract 60 Pressure Pro Carpet Deep Cleaner.
If you are like me, then the price is always an important factor in any purchase. Not only do I always find myself on a tight budget, but also I am kind of hesitant about buying inexpensive products because they always seem to fail. I am happy to report that my Hoover Max is one of the cheaper and better products that I had invested.
My home contains mostly carpet, so the versatility of this cleaner did not factor into my decision. However, this may be an issue for some people. It can be hard to find a cleaner that is capable of tackling a variety of surfaces. This is something that you do not have to worry about with the Hoover Max Extract 60, because it is capable of cleaning carpets, sofas, stairs, throw rugs, tiled floors, and even sealed wood flooring. This will be an incredible benefit for all those consumers that have a variety of floors installed throughout their homes.
Super Suctioning Power
The DualV Nozzle Technology just happens to be its most notable feature. This technology enhances the suctioning power by two folds, and now I never have to worry about moving the machine back and forth over the same area of carpet more than once. This also cuts down the cleaning time, so I can focus on other tasks that I have been ignoring for months.
The pressurized edge-to-edge cleaning is another feature that sets this carpet cleaner apart from the others. With this technology you actually get a wall of pressurized water that lifts and loosens stains with a constant spraying action. Thanks to this new technology, I am no longer forced to hide those stubborn stains with heavy furniture. To add more cleaning power, Hoover embedded the Spinscrub technology into the highly engineered scrubbing brushes. There are a total of 60 brushes integrated into the cleaning head, which operates in a counter clockwise rotation. When the cleaner is placed over a stubborn stain, you are guaranteed that it will not be there, when you push it forward.
The Max Extract 60 has two separate holding tanks that are equipped with a heavy duty handle. The solution tank offers a maximum holding capacity of 147 ounces, which is suitable for cleaning a 10’ X 12’ room. It allows the user to detach the tanks from the machine, empty, refill and replace them without mishap. The tanks are also constructed out of see-through material, so you can monitor the cleaning solution/water and waste levels periodically. This is definitely a great feature that will come in handy when you are shampooing a vast area. Although the capacity is sufficient, the design is even more impressive and gives me the ability to quickly make adjustments and refills, without stopping for prolonged periods of time.
The additional upholstery tool will offer much convenience when tackling your dirty upholstery and tight corners. The 9’ flexible suctioning hose allows you to clean a large area, without being forced to make frequent position changes amid your tasks. This will increase your overall productivity and reduce your cleaning time drastically. Although these accessories are somewhat universal, I have found that this particular model tends to come with much more durable and sturdy accessories, when compared to the alternative. I am confident that they will serve me well for many years to come.
As always, it is highly recommended to use the same brand cleaning solution like the Hoover CLEANPLUS 2X Carpet Cleaner and Deodorizer.
When analyzing the market’s array of carpet cleaning machines, I tend to put plenty of emphases on the maneuverability of the carpet cleaner. If I am unable to quickly glide the machine the room, the utilization of the product will grow cumbersome and leave me frustrated. With this particular model, this has never been a problem. I have quite a bit of clutter throughout my home, but this carpet extractor always manages to maneuver around each piece of furniture with grace and ease. This also helps me avoid physically lifting the unit and repositioning it.
